Custom Work Policy - Embroidery & Alterations

At Nolantrelli Limited T/A Nolan's Workwear, we offer custom embroidery and garment alteration services to meet your business and personal workwear needs. As these services involve personalized work, the following policy applies to all custom orders.

1. Custom Orders – General Terms

  • Any item that has been embroidered, altered, resized, or otherwise customized is considered a custom product.
  • Custom work is carried out strictly according to the details approved by the customer at the time of order.
  • By placing a custom order, you confirm that all information provided (including spelling, logo design, sizing, placement, and colour choices) is correct.

2. Embroidery Services

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that logos, text, and artwork supplied are accurate and authorized for use.
  • We are not responsible for trademark or copyright infringement relating to customer-supplied artwork.
  • Logo previews or proofs may be provided upon request; approval of a proof confirms acceptance of the final design.
  • Minor variations in stitch density, colour shade, or placement may occur due to fabric type and embroidery processes and are considered acceptable industry standards.

3. Alterations & Garment Adjustments

  • Alterations are carried out based on the measurements or instructions provided by the customer.
  • We strongly recommend confirming sizing before requesting alterations, as altered garments cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Once a garment has been altered, it is considered permanently modified.

4. No Returns or Refunds on Custom Work

  • Customized items are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless the item is faulty or the custom work does not match the approved order details.
  • This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Embroidered logos or names
    • Altered garments
    • Made-to-order or personalized workwear

5. Faulty or Incorrect Custom Work

  • If you believe your custom item is faulty or does not match the approved specifications, you must notify us within 5 business days of delivery.
  • Clear photos and order details must be provided for assessment.
  • If an error is confirmed on our part, we will:
    • Repair the item where possible, or
    • Replace the item, or
    • Issue a refund at our discretion

6. Production Time-frames

  • Custom embroidery and alterations typically require additional processing time.
  • Estimated turnaround times will be provided at the time of order but may vary depending on order volume, garment type, and complexity of work.
  • Nolan's Workwear is not responsible for delays caused by customer approval delays, supply issues, or unforeseen production circumstances.

7. Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Custom orders cannot be changed or cancelled once production has begun.
  • Requests for changes must be submitted immediately after placing the order and are subject to approval.

8. Care & Maintenance

  • Customized garments should be cared for according to the washing instructions provided.
  • Improper washing, drying, or handling may affect embroidery or alterations and is not covered under this policy.

9. Customer Responsibility

By placing a custom order, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed and approved all customization details.
  • You accept that custom work carries inherent limitations.
  • You understand that custom items are excluded from standard returns policies.
